  1. I loved the bacon and red onion in this recipe. It was very easy to make. I used frozen peas (thawed) and I also put the tomatoes in a colander after I cut them up to help drain off extra liquid.

  2. This was really good, reminded me of a 7 layer salad, but this is easier. I make ahead, but left out the tomatoes, just chopped some up and added on our own, Did not add to salad bowl. My DH and I both agreed, the tomatoes were not needed, was so good without and he is a real tomato nut. Will be making this again and again. Thank you for sharing

  3. YUM!!! I made a few adjustments because it just me eating salads in my house! I added a little cheese and brocolli because I needed to use them. I also left out the red onion because I don't like them raw. Thanks so much for a keeper!

I live in the beautiful state of South Carolina and have lived here all of my life.I am a police officer and I work in a mid-sized city which comes along with big city stress, so to relieve this stress I took up gardening. I now have an absolutely gorgeous garden with approxamately 30 different kinds of fruits and veggies and it has become my passion. I have always enjoyed cooking but now I can experiment all of the time with the foods I've grown!
