This is a southern delicacy. Try them hot or cold. After they are done break off the shell they are soooo juicy and better than dry roasted. IMHO They also freeze well and can be heated up in the microwave.
I was born and raised in AL...this is a favorite. I have to have these everytime I go home to visit family and recently found a site where I can order raw peanuts since they are hard to find in CO. I just love them. Thanks for posting!

Made these for Fall 09 PAC Premie Adoption. I have had these bags of unsalted Peanuts sitting in the fridge forever waiting for just this recipe. I used Sea Salt, and since you can't use too much, used a 1 1/2 cups. As I sit here eating these as I write this I just gotta tell you how much I love these...they are the BOMB!!! And one added benefit, the shells go into the compost pit for next years garden. Wooo Hooo!!!
