Best darn spicy shrimp recipe I've ever tasted. My friend Chuck sent me this recipe and I was going to post it here at the Zaar.. only to find that someone else found this recipe worth posting... so I'll just post the picture. I served this with steaming rice and a nice French baguette. It was fantastic! I originally posted this review on Dec 15, 2002 and sent the picture in on the same day. As of today (1-30-03) the picture is still not posted.. sorry.. nothing I can do about it.

If I could give this recipe 10 stars I would!! This takes me back to New Orleans FOR SURE!! My DH was a little skeptical, because he does not like spicy food (he is a yankee) but even HE was liking his fingers and any juice that ran down his arm LOL!! I served them by themselves with some little French bread loaves....AWESOME!! Thank you for sharing this keeper! I did take a couple of pics, if they get the go ahead I will post them here. Thank you again!

I live in the San Francisco area and love it here. I discovered Recipezaar (then Food.com..Genius Kitchen) in 2001 and have been so happy to have my favorite recipes stored safely here. I am mother to 7 and grandmother to 7.
I love to knit, smock, sew, etc., but my favorite hobby of the moment is traditional rug hooking. This is a sample of what I do.? It's called "November".? I dyed most of the wool myself. It is made from wool flannel, cut into strips a little less than 1/4" and then worked into a linen backing. This is my 3rd rug.
