  1. I have never been disappointed when I cook your recipes. This was another outstanding one. The beef patties were so incredibly moist. The sauce was nicely seasoned--loved the thyme flavor. My family all agreed that this was excellent and deserving of more than 5-stars. Thanks Inez.

  2. This was a totally scrumptious meal. My bunch wolfed your hamburger patties down and gave them high compliments. Soft enough to cut with a fork. Made plenty of sauce and I used some of it to go over the rice. Thank you.

  3. Absolutely delicious!!!! I especially liked the savoury cream sauce on these, love the flavour of thyme! What a nice change from the sweet sauces that are usually on hamburger dishes such as meatloaves, meatballs etc. etc..followed the recipe exactly and I do not think I would change a thing! Quick & easy to make too. Will be having these again! Thanks Inez for a great recipe.

  4. Great patties, as the other reviewers said. The sauce was, however, far too bland, BUT it could have been the fault of the chicken broth I used. I spiced up the sauce with local piquanté pepper seasoning, a touch of nutmeg and turmeric, and a dash of Tabasco. Also, because the sauce was too thin, I did not add the milk, but did add a tablespoon of créme fraiche. It was still not quite there ... but quite good served with mashed potatoes and green veggies. Thanks!

After DH and I moved away from the farm, and to the city...I haven't done as much cooking and very little canning. But I do come to Zaar and look for new recipes once in a while. I'm still cooking Zaar!! I like to play at Facebook, with my family and friends. A lot of my Zaar friends are there!! Yay! It's a good way to keep in touch. We travel more. We're looking at the European trips now. Hope to go in the springtime. I really want to see London, I think I lived there in a past life, I've been obsessed with it since I was 10 years old!!
