    Directions:

    1. 1

Add yogurt and honey until dry ingredients are just moistened.

Really good! I make biscuits often, the kind with buttermilk and lots of butter, so was unsure how these would go over with the family. They loved them! Served with homemade jams for breakfast but will keep in mind for dinner, too. Doubled the recipe, used nonfat plain Greek yogurt, and smart balance spread. Lowfat, with a decent dose of calcium and protein. Got 10 biscuits from my double batch so would triple the recipe next time. Baked for 10 minutes, would probably go 12 next time. Unlike other low fat biscuits that are like hockey pucks, these stay moist and fluffy inside. Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Wow, wow, wow! These biscuits are so yummy! They have a moist yet fluffy interior and a crunchy crust on the outside. I used whole spelt flour, cause thats what I had on hand and only 1 tbs of margarine. That way my biscuits might have been a little more on the heavy side, but I liked them a lot like that. They were surprisingly sweet considering that they only have that little honey in them. Thanks so much for sharing this gem of a recipe with us, Gaia22! Ill surely make these often again as they are also very quick and easy to put together.

Update February 2012: I just made them again for the Honey Event in the Spain/Portugal forum and again these did not disappoint. They rose high, were flakey and soft and super yummy! Thanks again for sharing, Gaia!
